Krakow`s branch of the Anarchist Federation has been existed since end of ’80. During this time our group has been involved in many demonstrations, actions and campaigns. The most famous were “Tama-tamie” against building dam on Dunajec river in Czorsztyn, “Akcja Bankiet” against quasi charitable ball in Town hall – which finally succeeded, legal aid for conscientious objectors, antiwar and antiNATO protests and loads of activities in support of Chechenyans. Currently we are concentrating on tenants problems, promoting partcipatory democracy, warning against gentrification process and we are also focusing on worker’s issues.
Every Tuesday at 7 pm we screen movies in Kawiarnia Naukowa (ul. Jakuba 29) and every Saturday in winter at 2 pm we organize Food not bombs at Korona in Stare Podgórze. If you are in our region comrades you are more then welcome to contact us.
